This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

First time here. 10/10 experience. Amazing food, staff, vibes. Can't go wrong! The chicken satay skewers with the peanut sauce were hands down the highlight. Had to get 2! Make sure to ask for the dessert menu, some amazing SE Asian gems on there and the hot Milo was to die for.

fancy finding singaporean food in the big apple. food definitely had authentic singaporean touches to it, but also innovative to cater towards the palettes of locals. satay and nasi lemak was the star of the show. loved the marination, juiciness and char of the satay (charcoal was used and skewered in house) nasi lemak was fluffy and fragrant, only wished the sambal was spicier, but i understand a right balance is needed for the locals once again. other dishes we ordered: their rendition of youtiao (something which i cant appreciate but i could see how it relates to a savoury churros) laksa was on the lighter side which was a hit for western tastebuds chendol was authentic and a perfect summer dessert. the pandan chiffon was perfect (light, airy and bouncy). it was comparable to bengawan solo. chicken rice though a simple dish to eat, its not simple to prepare. i appreciate the many steps they take to prepare the dish (from rice, condiments and soup). overall a very good meal and was really glad to have found this place.

Great food and nice relaxed atmosphere. The chicken nasi lemak was the best I've ever had. The assam laksa was very good, but could have had more laksa. The mocktail was also pretty good. I'd like to go back and try more from the menu.

Stellar! We got the Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah, Kaya Toast, Bakmi Keriting, Chicken Satay, and Milo Dinosaur. My favorite dishes were the Nasi Lemak Ayam Berempah, Kaya Toast, and Iced Milo Dinosaur. I havenβt tried a lot of nasi lemak in the past, so this was a new experience but definitely a great one. The chicken was so nicely battered, tasty, and crispy, pairing perfectly with the coconut rice and sides. The kaya toast was deliciously buttery and sweet, just like the ones I had in Singapore. The Iced Milo Dinosaur was a nice, slightly more concentrated version than the one Iβm used to, which I love because the chocolate malt flavor was strong. Both the bakmi keriting and chicken satay were pretty good, but could be better. The chicken in the bakmi was tender and yummy but the noodles needed a bit of a kick. As for the satay, they just doesnβt really compare to the ones in Indonesia. Servers were really friendly and helpful. The place could get a bit loud but itβs not a big deal in my opinion. The food is great overall and Iβm planning to return to try other dishes :)

We saw a sign out front saying Nasi Lemak and had to check it out! Hui Ting was extremely friendly and helpful when we were ordering. The food here is pretty good, only complaint is the menu is small but the restaurant is fairly new so it makes sense. Excited to come back here soon and try the other dishes on the menu.
